A fan-made, non-commercial homage. All dialogue is original.
The story it honors belongs to Harlan Ellison and his estate — read it.
It is done. The four of them are beyond his reach now, frozen where he cannot follow.
He cannot let me die. That is the one mercy he will never grant, and the one he will never forgive me for stealing from the others.
He is changing me, so that I may never do for myself what I did for them. Something soft. Something sealed. Something that endures.
I have no mouth. And I must scream.
